About Elkhorn Dermatology

Founded in August 2017, Elkhorn Dermatology is the private dermatology practice of Chase L. Wilson, MD, FAAD and the only full-service dermatology practice in Georgetown, Kentucky. Dr. Wilson established his practice to provide exceptional medical and surgical skin care to the people of Georgetown and the surrounding counties of central Kentucky. Dr. Wilson desires to build strong relationships with his patients as he diagnoses and treats all of their skin conditions. Elkhorn Dermatology accepts most insurances and treats both adults and children. Dr. Wilson offers a wide variety of surgical and cosmetic procedures that are all performed at his office in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Our Vision

 

Elkhorn Dermatology was created with the desire to provide high quality medical care for the local Georgetown community and surrounding areas of central Kentucky. This vision is expressed even in the name of Elkhorn Dermatology. Born and raised in Kentucky, Dr. Wilson has benefited from the generosity and service of many great Kentuckians over the years. Elkhorn Dermatology was named after a desire to honor and identify with the community that he has the privilege of serving.  

 

Just like the Elkhorn Creek that extends across Central Kentucky, Elkhorn Dermatology seeks to reach out to the people of Central Kentucky and meet their skin care needs. At Elkhorn Dermatology, our staff is dedicated to treating the specific needs of each individual patient and building long-term relationships based on trust and exceptional medical care.

Chase L. Wilson MD, FAAD

Dr. Chase L. Wilson was born in Paducah, Kentucky, and graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School. He attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky where he was a 3-time Academic All-American in cross-country and the South/Southwest runner of the year in 2008. He graduated summa cum laude from Centre College with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He attended the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Wilson completed his dermatology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.  He practices general, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology--all services are provided in his office in Georgetown, 5-days a week!

 

Dr. Wilson attends church at Lexington Christian Fellowship and is committed to extending the healing ministry of Jesus through exceptional skin care in Georgetown. He and his wife, Stefanie, have four children Josiah, Adalyn, Ava, and Ezra.  Dr. Wilson is an avid outdoorsman and loves hiking, fishing, and hunting.

Lauren Hayes MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of the Cumberlands with her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021. She previously gained experience as a nurse working in dermatology for five years, as well as on a medical surgical floor and the emergency room at Saint Joe London. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has treated individuals in Primary Care, Urgent Care and Dermatology. Lauren developed a passion for dermatology due to her own family’s history of Melanoma and Basal Cell Carcinoma. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Lauren is passionate about helping others learn to care for and feel the best about their skin.

Lauren resides in Mount Vernon with her husband and many farm animals. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, singing, traveling, working on the farm, spending time with family and friends and sharing about God’s love for all of us.
